Custom Brushed Velvet Shades and a new revamped showroom!

Our Custom Fabric Shades, Now on Show in Bristol

A lampshade does more than cover a bulb. It sets the mood of a room, shapes how the light falls, and can be the detail that ties a scheme together. That's why we've built our fabric shade range around choice. Every shade is custom made, so the finished light is designed around your space.

Build it your way

Most shades come as a single, fixed product. Ours are a set of decisions, and you make each one:

  • Ceiling rose: choose a style and finish to suit your ceiling and the rest of your scheme.
  • Fabric cable: pick a cable that works as part of the design rather than just the wiring.
  • Lamp holder: select the finish and style that sits at the heart of the light.
  • Shade colour: choose from a range of fabrics and colours (more on those below).
  • Size: go for 300mm, 450mm or 600mm.

The result is a pendant that looks planned rather than assembled from whatever was available.

Choosing your size

300mm is ideal for smaller spaces, bedside pendants, hallways, or hung in groups of two or three over a kitchen island or dining table. 450mm is our all-rounder, big enough to make a statement over a side table or in a snug without overwhelming it. 600mm is the showstopper for high ceilings, open-plan living areas, stairwells, or any room that needs one confident central light.

The colours

Our brushed velvet shades come in four rich colours:

  • Teal: deep, jewel-like and endlessly versatile. It pairs beautifully with the velvet sofas and chairs that are so popular right now, and with matching cushions and throws.
  • Mustard: warm and characterful, a great way to bring colour into a neutral room.
  • Pink: soft and playful, perfect for bedrooms and nurseries, or anywhere you want a little personality.
  • Black: dramatic and sophisticated, especially in darker, moodier schemes.

Brushed velvet is a soft, warm fabric with a luxurious feel. It suits bedrooms, lounges and snug spaces particularly well, where you want the light to feel as cosy as the room itself. Many of our shades also have a metallic inner lining, which adds a warm glow when the light is switched on.

New colours coming soon: we're adding linen and grey to the range. Linen brings a natural, textured, relaxed look, while grey is a calm, contemporary neutral that works in almost any scheme. If you've been waiting for something a little more understated, keep an eye out.

See them in person at our newly refreshed showroom

Colour and fabric are hard to judge on a screen. A teal can look very different in daylight than it does in a photo, and velvet really needs to be seen and touched. That's why we've given our Bristol showroom a refresh, and a good selection of our fabric shades is now on display.

You can compare colours side by side, see how the three sizes look in real life, and see how the shades look lit. Our team can talk you through the ceiling rose, cable and lamp holder options and help you put together exactly the right combination.
