Oxford and Sloane Classic: Low Level Wall Lights That Do More Than Light the Way
Good lighting doesn't have to announce itself. The best of it sits quietly in the background, guiding you up a staircase, softening a hallway or giving a terrace some evening atmosphere. That's the idea behind two new additions to our range: the Oxford (round) and the Sloane Classic (square) low level wall lights from All LED.
Both are slim, understated and built to cope with the British weather, and at £50.99 per unit they're a very practical way to upgrade a space.
Two shapes, one design philosophy
The two models share the same technical foundations. The difference is in the shape.
The Oxford has a soft, round face. It suits curved architecture, period properties and any scheme where you want a gentler look.
The Sloane Classic has a crisp, square face. It suits contemporary interiors, clean-lined exteriors and spaces built around straight edges and right angles.
Whichever you choose, the face is made of frosted glass, which diffuses the light into a soft-edged beam rather than a harsh spot. You get a warm, even glow that adds atmosphere without dazzling anyone.
Three finishes to suit any scheme
Both models come in three finishes:
- Polar White: clean and discreet. It blends into light-coloured walls and painted plinths, so the glow stands out rather than the fitting.
- Brushed Aluminium: a soft, matte metallic finish that sits comfortably between traditional and modern. It's a safe choice for most homes.
- Polished Chrome: a bright, reflective finish with a touch of polish. It works well with chrome taps, handles and other fittings, particularly in bathrooms and kitchens.
Designed for comfort
Low level lighting only works if it's comfortable to live with. Both lights use an anti-glare design, so the light stays pleasant and doesn't catch your eyes as you walk past. The frosted glass spreads the light smoothly, giving a soft, even wash across the wall or step.
The ultra-slim profile is the other big advantage. These fittings sit neatly into walls and tight spaces, so they work where bulkier lights won't fit. They look tidy and intentional, not like an afterthought.
Where to use them
These lights are versatile, and the listed applications are:
- Stair lighting: marking out each step safely, which matters most in the dark or for anyone with less than perfect eyesight

With an IP65 rating, they're protected against dust and water jets, so they're suitable inside and out. That means you can use the same style indoors and on patios, garden steps, entrances and pathways, which makes it easy to keep the look consistent from room to garden.
Easy to install, easy to control
Each light comes with a 1-metre pre-wired cable, which takes much of the hassle out of installation. They run on 350mA constant current and are designed for series wiring, so you can link several lights along a run of stairs or a hallway.
They're also dimmable when used with a dimmable LED driver. You can keep the light low and soft for a relaxed evening, or bring it up when you need a bit more visibility.
